We are excited to invite all members, retirees, and their families to an IBEW Local 602 Summer Picnic!

Join us for a day of fun, food, and fellowship as we celebrate the summer together.

Every summer, IBEW Local 602 members, families, and friends come together for our annual summer picnics — a time to relax, connect, and enjoy great food in a family-friendly atmosphere.

In 2025, we hosted two memorable gatherings:

  • Lubbock Picnic – Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Buddy Holly Recreation Area (12 PM – 3 PM)

  • Amarillo Picnic – Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Thompson Park (12 PM – 3 PM)

These events are a great way to strengthen our union community while enjoying games, activities, and camaraderie. Mark your calendars early — dates for the 2026 Summer Picnics will be announced in Spring 2026.
